Haven Women's Center of Stanislaus provides individual one-on-one counseling to women and children who have been victims of domestic or sexual violence. Counseling is short-term and focused on safety and empowering clients to heal and regain power and control of their lives. Please call the counseling center at 523-1570 for more information or to sign up for counseling.
Support Groups All Haven support groups meet weekly. There is never a fee. Childcare will need to be arranged prior to group as childcare is not provided. |
Women Molested as Children Support Group – Open to adult women molested as children, who are seeking support and healing. Please call the Haven Counseling Office at

Battered Women’s Support Group – Emphasis on understanding the dynamics of abusive behavior and healing for victims of domestic violence. The group also focuses on new approaches to conflict resolution. There are groups in English and Spanish. Please call main office for group locations and times.
Rape / Sexual Assault Survivors Group – Open to all women who have ever been a victim of any form of sexual assault. Other support groups or workshops may be offered. Please call the main office for availability. New ideas for groups or workshops are always explored.
