Airport Community
The Airport Community Against Violence Project is a collaborative non-profit community service organization. The primary goal of the project is to end the cycle of violence in the Airport Neighborhood. We work to educate residents about domestic violence, including their perceptions, acceptance, knowledge of resources, and myths of domestic violence.

Volunteer Training
Haven’s volunteer program provides opportunities in the area of trauma response, legal advocacy, children’s programs and more. After completion of a mandatory 75 hour training class, and acceptance into the volunteer program, volunteers can work directly with clients.

Legal Program
Haven provides a legal clinic for Domestic Violence Restraining Orders. If you are filing this order against a person you have had a domestic relationship with (defined as: spouse, previously dated, parents in common, related by blood, marriage or adoption, lived together), then we can assist you in filing the order. There is no fee for this service, however an appointment is required.

Sexual Assault
Sexual violence is a variety of sexual acts committed against a persons free will which include, but are not limited to, rape and sexual assault.

Often times abusers will use a combination of threats, coercion and intimidation in hopes to silence their victim(s). Remember that abusers will often blame the victim(s) in hopes to convince him/her that the fault lies within them. IT IS NEVER THE VICTIMS FAULT!

Case Management
Haven offers the services of case managers to assist you in developing personal goals toward a violence free life and finding resources and tools to achieve them.
