Haven provides a legal clinic to assist clients in obtaining protective orders. If you are a victim of domestic or sexual abuse, and need a court order keeping the abuser away, please read the information below. There is no fee for this service, however an appointment is required.
- Domestic Violence Restraining Orders: We can help with this type or order if the client is filing against an intimate partner, who has abused the client and or the children.

- Civil Harassment Restraining Orders: We can help with this type of order if the client is a victim if sexual abuse or sexual harassment from someone she has NOT had an intimate relationship with and needs a court order for her protection.
- Crisis Intervention: We offer the client a variety of options. Our ultimate goal is to help insure the client's safety, and assist her in the process of her own empowerment.

- Legal Advocacy: We assist client's through the entire process of the restraining order. We will advocate on behalf of the client, depending on her specific needs.
- Legal referrals: If we are unable to meet all of the clients needs, we then recommend other legal agencies that offer further assistance.
- Assistance in preparing for Court Mediation: We help clients understand the mediation and court process and organize their thoughts in preparation.
- Court Accompaniment: Upon request, we can provide court support for clients in both civil protective order cases and criminal cases.
- Court Translation: In civil cases, we can provide translation services for Spanish speaking clients.
- Clothing Closet: We offer clients free business attire, which provides clients the opportunity to feel appropriately dressed and prepared for court.
